Penn State Master Gardeners
Penn State Master Gardener Program Accepting Applications Penn State Extension in Jefferson County is now accepting applications for Master Gardener Program classes beginning in October and ending in early March. The 2015-2016 classes (Oct-March) will be held on Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Reynoldsville Foundry. Included are 19 classes, the test and Mandatory Reporter Training.
This program is a training course designed to provide dedicated and experienced home gardeners with the information and skills necessary to teach by sharing their experience and knowledge with others.
Applications are being accepted through September 24th. To receive an application or if you have questions, please call Penn State Extension at 849-7361 or e-mail cshenkle@verizon.net There is a program fee of $175.00 per person to cover the cost of the training manual and other materials.
Individual classes may be audited for $25 each with pre-registration so materials can be prepared.
